2000 -  Mentioned in the acknowledgements of Dr. David Carrasco’s book Daily Life of the Aztecs. Students on my team in 1998 read
              and critiqued early drafts of Dr. Carrasco’s book.  He was our host on a field trip to Princeton University for our team’s South                 American unit.

 
1998 – National Council Teachers of English Paul and Kate Farmer Award for  outstanding English Journal article
 
1997 – Distinguished Pass for Teachers College, Department of Curriculum and Teaching Qualifying Paper titled Critical Reading: From
             and Within Critical
 Thinking.   A Review of the Literature of Critical Reading and Critical Thinking Theories Towards a
            Conceptualization of A Model of Critical Reading for Middle Level Constructivist Teaching Practice.

2008 – Peter Hopper: NHD Junior Historical Paper won Lincoln Prize, NJHD
                                    NHD 1st place Civil War Prize, from all Junior and Senior, all categories
 
2008 - Jyotsna Suresh: 1st place FPS Junior Scenario – 2nd place FPS International
 
(2006 Grover took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in Junior Scenario writing.  Sean Wu was on the 1st place  group scenario writing team)
 
2009 – Angela Mao: 1st place FPS Junior Scenario Writing – 3rd place FPS International
            Honored as “Best Writer” in Junior Scenario Group Writing FPS IC
